This summer, Salem City FC is launching an elite training program designed for competitive players aged U12–U18 in the Winston-Salem area.
Our goal is simple: to help your child improve in a meaningful, measurable way and to help you understand exactly how they’re developing.
The foundation of every strong player. Every session is built around the fundamentals; touch, movement, decision-making, and execution under pressure. We believe technical mastery is what separates good players from great ones, and we treat it as non-negotiable at every age group.
Led by UEFA-qualified coaches with international experience. Our coaches have worked at elite levels across Europe and the United States, bringing a standard of instruction that simply isn’t available in most regional summer programs. What they’ve seen and coached at the highest levels, they bring directly to your player.
Training in a group doesn’t mean getting lost in one. Our sessions are structured so every player is seen, challenged, and developed as an individual, not just as part of a unit. Small-group work and focused observation mean no player goes unnoticed.

This allows us to give your child more personalized attention, even within a team environment.
Clear communication with players families. Parents are partners in development, not passengers. We communicate openly throughout the program so families always know where their player stands, what’s improving, and what needs work.
We will run 10 dedicated goalkeeper sessions throughout the summer, ensuring players in this position receive the specialized coaching they need.

The years between U15 and U17 are the most critical development window in a player's journey. This is where technical habits are hardened, physical attributes are built, and the tactical understanding that separates good players from elite ones begins to take shape. The work done in these years does not just prepare a player for the next season; it determines who they are at U18 and beyond.
U18 is where potential becomes a decision. College programs, academy scouts, and professional clubs are watching at this level, and the window to make an impression is narrower than it has ever been.
